DYNASTIES: APPARENTLY OK AGAIN

From the Politico:

Lynne Cheney, wife of Vice President Dick Cheney, is being floated in Senate GOP leadership circles as a possible replacement for the late Sen. Craig Thomas (R-Wyo.), who died Monday night....

The story goes on to quote a "GOP insider" who insists that "Lynne Cheney ha[s] been in Washington 'too long' to be acceptable to the Wyoming GOP, ... although that would change if Cheney were to return to Wyoming on a full-time basis." (I don't know which Cheney is meant in that last part, but we can dream, can't we?) Still, somebody likes this idea -- somebody who'll probably be on Sunday talk shows next year grumbling about "dynasties" if Hillary Clinton's the Democratic nominee.
