PART OF THE DEFINITION OF SENTIENCE IS SELF-AWARENESS

TBogg flags this one down from Politico on the weighty subject of Sarah Palin versus Mitt Romney.
“For Washington consultants to sit around and personally disparage the Governor anonymously to reporters is unfortunate and counterproductive and frankly immature,” the aide, who spoke on condition of anonymity, continued.
Effin' really, Politico's Andy Barr?  Effin' really, Politico's Andy Barr's editor who should have caught this and then hit Politico's Andy Barr with a J-school diploma strapped to a two-by-four?  There is a microcosm of complete and total Village Fail in that sentence, to the point where I feel like somebody went to the bowling alley, threw a 7-10 split and then while completely drunk built a complex series of steam-powered difference engines in order to calculate a foolproof method of nailing the angle, speed, and spin needed to pick up a spare, accidentally perfected cold fusion while doing it, then slipped on the lane and got the spare anyway and then threw away the damn punch cards thus forever losing the secret to both bowling and clean, renewable energy.

In other words, the above quote makes my soul hurt.  A lot.
